I went to school in the 50s and then the new teachers wanted to be chums and didn't believe in competition. by the time my children went to school the teachers were actively telling the children to ignore their parents. Plus 80% pass rates were normal. Gradually education was replaced by indoctrination So serves you all right. All this trouble is down to teachers.
